CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) are the components of non-academic curriculum that help to develop various facets of the personality of the child. For all-round development of the child, there is a need of emotional, physical, spiritual and moral development that is complemented and supplemented by Co-curricular Activities. The CCA programme in BGS World School is designed to cater to the growth of the ‘Whole Child’.

The school calendar of the year publishes the list of multifarious activities such as literary and cultural activities to be held class wise. However, the sports activities are conducted House wise. The process is carried out with an aim to expose each and every student. This exercise brings to the students the much needed opportunity to develop soft and social skills.

The houses are named after the great and inspiring personalities such as – ‘Buddha’, ‘Ashoka’, Einstein’ and ‘Kuvempu’ the great personalities. All four House have distinctive colours for uniforms and have house flags. Four sets of teachers designated as ‘House Masters’ and ‘Deputy House Masters’ to groom the students for their co-curricular activities through healthy competitions.
